Full Text of Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
I don't know many folks who have actually read the full 680 pages of this bill (act). I have heard many people discuss how important this is for the economy and they site a few pet projects. TITLE VII—ENERGY
Aside from Energy and Water there are no permanent jobs created here. All of them are "projects" that will start and end. The tax cuts don't impact the job creators sufficiently to have a stimulus. A great deal of money is set aside for the unemployed to provide health insurance, medicaid provisions and energy.
I don't see how this will restore the long term growth in our economy. The U.S. Government is the largest employer in the United States, hiring about 2.0 percent of the nation's work force. This will only increase this grotesque state of affairs while further entrenching the entitlement crowd in Washington DC.

Seriously, sneaking a national health information technology bureaucracy into a bill that is aimed at "kick starting" the economy is vile.
