When is a Lobbyist not a Lobbyist?

The Obama Administration could run some of the same ads against itself that it ran against McCain.  Progress Now, Code Pink and all the other left of sanity goonie birds out there are applauding the same behavior in Obama that they decried in Bush & McCain.   Obama has a history rife with influence peddling (Rezko is just one example).  Obama, against his word, immediately started placing the revolving door lobbyist in new positions of power. (revolving door lobbyist are the ones who shuttle back and forth between the public and private sectors, each pass though the cycle amassing substantially more power and influence - and riches).

Daschel, Holder, Craig, Lynn, Corr and Patterson all had significant lobbying ties or were "registered" lobbyist.  Obama says that waivers for "extraordinarily qualified" people are being made.

How the crap is that any different than any other administration?  Did past administrations only give positions to "extraordinarily unqualified" past lobbyist?

Face it folks... the majority (overwhelming majority) of our politicians care about only one thing: getting re-elected.  Reelection means more power, and more power means greater personal influence and riches.

It is time to revamp the system and pass a constitutional amendment forcing term limits.  Two in either chamber and then you go home.

Let's take the strain or reelection off their backs.  Let's put them back to doing the people work.

A career politician is not a servant of the people.

I will be starting a national campaign and petition with a goal of 5,000,000 signatures to force the issue.

Please join me.
